Shropshire Blue is a full-bodied cheese with a creamy texture, rich flavour and distinctive blue veins. Traditionally made and lovingly matured, this mature and mellow cheese is the pride of our Master Cheesemakers. The perfect Blue Shropshire will be a rich orange in colour with distinctive blue veining and a golden crust. It is best accompanied by a good English brown Ale or, as with Stilton, by a rich fortified wine.
